Separate records made reconciliation difficult
Benzin.bg handled customer records, card activity, payments and usage information across offline processes and legacy systems. Finance and operations needed to bring those records together to understand the transaction.
The connections had to preserve the context
The platform needed to exchange transaction information with the other systems involved. Access rules and mismatched records mattered as much as receiving the data: the result had to be usable by the people reviewing consumption and payments.
