Healthcare software development

Custom healthcare software for the way your teams work.

Custom healthcare software for the way your teams work.

When a system no longer fits the work, people fill the gaps with spreadsheets, repeated data entry and manual handoffs. We build and modernize web and mobile software around those workflows, from discovery and integrations through testing, migration and rollout.

Let's talk

Experience with emergency preparedness products

Our experience includes rebuilding MERP for Safeguard Risk Solutions and PREP for HAPevolve: emergency preparedness products that help people reach plans, contacts and procedures when they need to act quickly.

Start with the work that needs to change.

A useful starting point is one workflow: who uses it, what information they need, which systems it crosses and where work gets delayed. We review the existing product and materials, speak with the people involved and recommend what to keep, connect or rebuild.

That can mean a new application, a focused addition to an existing platform or a staged replacement. The recommendation should explain the investment, the first useful release and how the transition will work.

Experience with emergency preparedness software.

MERP and PREP required coordinated work across web applications, mobile apps, backend services and infrastructure. Our scope included discovery, a technical audit, development, accessibility improvements, identity integrations, data migration, testing and rollout.

The delivery team reports that the switch to the rebuilt platform took place without service interruption or crashes. It also reports a 90% reduction in AWS costs after modernization. These are outcomes from this project, rather than forecasts for another system.

Connect systems and remove repeated work.

We can scope applications and integrations for document access, operational workflows, reporting and coordination across teams. We define how information moves, who can see or change it, and how exceptions are handled before implementation starts.

For established products, we also plan how existing users, data and integrations will move to the next version. Testing and release planning belong in the scope from the beginning.

Assess AI where it has a clear job.

Potential applications include extracting information from documents, finding answers in approved internal materials and preparing drafts for staff to review. We assess the workflow, data access, evaluation criteria and review steps before recommending an AI component.

The question is practical: does it reduce work while keeping the result useful and checkable? A fixed integration or simpler automation may be the better answer.

Compare the whole investment.

A packaged platform may already cover the workflow well. Custom development becomes a stronger option when repeated workarounds, integration limits or the cost of changes prevent it from doing so. We compare licensing, implementation, migration, training, maintenance and future changes—not just the initial development cost.

What would a useful first release do?

Tell us about the workflow, the product you want to improve or the system that is getting in the way. We can help define a practical first scope and the path to putting it into use.
